  1. What is the 24-7 Football service?

    24-7 Football is a mobile video on demand service brought to you jointly by Sky Sports, The Sun and News of the World. It offers highlights from the Barclays Premier League and UEFA Champions League, Sky Sports news bulletins, the best of Soccer AM plus Gillette Soccer Saturday.

  2. Are all mobile networks supported?

    The service is available across all mobile networks in the UK and Ireland. If you are on Orange UK, Vodafone UK, Vodafone Ireland, TMobile UK, 02 UK, O2 Ireland, 3 UK or 3 Ireland, you will be able to sign up for the service on your operator’s portal.
    If you are on another network you can sign up via the 24-7 Football website or by texting: PITCH to 60247. (UK only)

  3. How much does it cost?

    There are two pricing options available
    - Monthly subscription: £5 per month in the UK or 7 euros per month in Ireland for unlimited download of all available video clips.
    - Pay per view: 50p per individual clip in the UK, 50c per clip in Ireland
    In addition, there is a weekly option for customers in Ireland which costs 2 euros per week for unlimited download of all available video clips. Please check with your network operator for more detail on the subscriptions available for your network.

  4. Are there any hidden charges?

    If you are on Orange UK, Vodafone UK, Vodafone Ireland, TMobile
    UK, 02 UK, O2 Ireland, 3 UK or 3 Ireland and sign up on your operator portal you will only pay £5/7 euros per month (if subscribing to the monthly option) or 50p/50c per clip (if using the service on a pay per view basis) when you access the service via that portal.

    There is no additional cost for downloading the clips. Your operator may charge you for browsing the 24-7 Football site.

  5. Is it available on all phones?

    The service is available on all mobile phones that are capable of video playback and are able to access WAP sites.

  6. How do I sign up?

    To sign up for the service you can either text PITCH to 60247 (UK) or go to www.24-7Football.co.uk on the web and follow the instructions to enter your phone number. We will then send you an SMS containing a link to the 24-7Football wap site. If you click on this link or enter it into your phone browser you will be taken through to the 24-7 Football mobile site.

  7. Will I be charged for texting 6024-7?

    The text you send to us will be charged at your standard network rate. The return SMS that we send you containing the link to our site will be free of charge.

  8. Will I be charged for clicking on the link in the return text message?

    You might incur additional data charges for browsing the site. Please check with your mobile operator for more information about data transfer charges.

  9. Do I have to be a Sky subscriber to get this service?

    No. This service is available to any mobile phone subscriber with a compatible phone in the UK and ROI.

  10. I pay for Sky Sports as part of my Sky television subscription. Is this mobile service included?

    No. 24-7 Football on your mobile is subject to an additional fee.

  1. Can I watch goals while the match is still being played?

    Goals will be available to download as soon as possible, including during games. The only restriction is that in accordance with UEFA Article 48, which declares that audio transmission of football is not allowed between 14:45 hours to 17:15 hours on any Saturday, there will be no clips available during these times.

  2. How soon can I expect to watch goals?

    We aim to ensure that goals are available 15 minutes after they have been scored apart from on Saturday afternoon between 14:45 and 17:15 in accordance with UEFA Article 48.

  3. Can I watch live matches?

    Not as part of the 24-7 Football service which is a video on demand service only. If you wish to watch full matches on your mobile, you can subscribe to Sky Mobile TV if it is offered by your network operator.

  4. Can I forward the clips to my friends?

    No, to view the clips you must be subscribed to the service.

  5. Can I watch the clips again?

    Once you have downloaded the clip to your phone you are able to watch it as often as you like.

  1. How do I access the service?

    If you are on Orange UK, Vodafone UK, Vodafone Ireland, TMobile UK, 02 UK, O2 Ireland, 3 UK and 3 Ireland you can access 24-7 Football via the football section on your operator's portal site. If you are on another network you can access video via the 24-7 Football mobile site.

  2. Where does the clip get downloaded to?

    This will vary by phone but generally the clip will be downloaded to your gallery or media folder. Please check your phone's instruction manual for details.

  3. If I have problems using the service who can I call?

    If you are on Orange UK, Vodafone UK, Vodafone Ireland, TMobile UK, 02 UK, O2 Ireland, 3 UK or 3 Ireland please call your network operator's customer services number.
